35 Days Away!
Yall,
in 35 days it will be time to march to the polls and vote! I don’t know about you, but this will be my first time to vote in the presidential election, as I was 17 at the time of the last election.
As a person who does not claim to be extremely knowledgeable about politics, I find it funny that I have been so caught up and immersed in this election season. I think its kind of impossibl not to, with the milestones that are being achieved
So, i implore you, young readers (ond old) of this blog, go out and cast your vote! Research the candidates, and then make descisions for yourselves. Get out there and get ready to vote!
Thanks, TV Land.
Because I have this painfully stong late night boredom floating through my vains, I have been subject to a great deal of television. The majority is self-inflicted, but some of it is quite welcome.
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed it, but like other Viacom held networks (Nickleodeon, MTV, CMT, VH1), TVLand has overhauled its format to include tamer versions of pretty much everything that can be found on VH1. But, the best part is that they kicked all this off with a Cosby Show Marathon!
The Cosby Show holds a special place in my heart out of a lot of shows because it is consistently funny, and it reminds me a lot of my own home life. Middle class African-Americans trying to raise a family with radnom quirks every 30 minutes. As an homage, I have this photo hanging in my apartment right now.
Seriously, no joke.
You know the painting that hung in the Huxtable family living room entitled “Funeral Processional?” This one?
We have a duplicate of it at home.
If you’re feeling particularly nostalgic for program that isn’t reality and does not feature in any way form or fashion WIll Ferell, go to TVLand. Watch The Cosby Show. Laugh. It’ll be good for you!
If you get a chance, go on over to the YOung and Free Texas Website and check out my new podcast! Its about reality TV, and its pretty awesome if I do say so myself. And I do.

ZOMG.
I typed out this fantastic post that I’m sure everyone would have loved. It was really informative and cool, funny and awesome.
However. It has been lost somewhere within the depths of WordPress.
So instead you get this video of people crying about trees!
Best. Video. EVER.
There’s just so much happening here that I can’t even sum it up. I’ll just let it speak for itself.
Just wait till the middle. There is some unholy poplocking going on.
And now for some videos!
As you may know, our first show of the year was last night! Wocka wocka wocka, exciting, I know. Here are the videos from the exciting and sordid ordeal. Filmed and edited by Shaun and I!
Intro Video
Graham and Callen’s Great Adventure.
Awkward Moments.
I hope you guys enjoy them as much as we did making them! The shows were a rousing success, and we had to turn people away for ll the shows because we ran out of space! THanks for the support.
More updates to come this week. I just found out a test I had on Friday was moved to next Friday. Rock oonnnnnnnn.

It’s alright, it’s alright
I just ate an entire extra large bag of Twizzlers.
I am the champion.
I get so O.O.C…out of control baby
So, apparently there’s a hurricane happening.
Over here in Waco we’re expecting a bit of the sidestorm.
I came home today and maintenance has taken down all of our porch swings, ostenstiously to keep them from flying back and forth in the storm and breaking our windows. How thoughtful! However, I’m pretty sure they just took bolt cutters and cut mine down because they were rusty or something. Tears.
I’m orginally from North Houston, and my mother called me to let me know that all of my cousins and family who live in the deep of Houston and go to U of H or Prairie View are staying out the house. However, if the water gets too high at the house they are, in the words of my mother, “rolling on up out of there.”
Now realizing that the hurricane is mostly imminent, I went to Wally World to stock up on some goodness. And while I was there, I noticed that they jacked up the price of a 24 pack of soda to $7!!!! Last week is was $5. Hmmmm.
So what does a hurricane hideouter procure to keep sane for a weekend?
- Special Edition Onion Blossoms Pringles (don’t get these. they are not delicious. they just taste like salt)
- Apple Juice!
- Cheez-Its
- Fudge Rounds (the big size)
- Twizzlers Rainbow Twists (I have a strange affinity for these. except for the orange ones.)
- and Ugly Betty Season 2. Which I’ve been meaning to get for awhile now.
As always, take a few seconds to mosey on over to the competition blog to see whats crackin! Also, if anyone would like to AIM me, my sn is psilikecheese. Peaces!
Fighting crime, trying to save the world
So, this is my outfit for the next Guerrilla Troupe Video. If you didn’t know, G Troupe is Baylor’s Improv Comedy Troupe. I got that awful/awesome jacket back in December for $12 and to date, have never had an opportunity to wear it. I got the gloves and the mask from Goodwill! Nice, I know. That shirt is one of my favorites, it says “Future Celebrity.” So when I become famous people can say, “He did always wear that “Future Celebrity” shirt.” The red socks, sadly belong to me. Do I look like a crime fighter or what?
Tip it pop it twerk it stop it
If you’re at this site, hopefully you’re aware of my entry into the Young & Free Texas Spokesperson competition. Basically, I am entering in hopes of representing TDECU!
Check out my video application here and leave a comment!

Anywayz, while I was making the video (which was chot on location at the Arbors Clubhouse on Baylor campus) I ended up with literally 45 minutes of footage. And I had to condese it down into a sixty second spot!
Those of you who know me know that I can talk for hours – literally. So cutting through the fat and getting to the meat of what I needed to say was difficult, but entirely neccessary.
What this blog is for is a way for you guys to know me better outside my 60 second application. During this time I’ll posting entirley here, so lemonseeds.wordpress readers (my other blog), come here for the goods.
Its going to be a “best of” of some of my most commented posts, and a mix of all sorts of delicious goodness from my brain.
Lets make it happen, shall we?
Side note: The titles of my posts often have nothing to do with the actual post. They are usually lyrics from songs that are in my head. Just so you know.
